I began my law enforcement career in 1999, working for the Washburn County Sheriff's Department. I worked at Devil's Lake and Mirror Lake State Parks as a Park Ranger. I have also worked as a Deputy Conservation Warden prior to getting hired with the police department.
In June 2005, I became a K-9 handler for the department. I served as K-9 handler until December of 2008 when K-9 Chico was retired.
I enjoy hunting, fishing, playing volleyball, soccer, and cross country skiing.
