My name is Paul Deuman. I graduated from the Waupaca High School in 1990.  I attended University of Wisconsin at Madison and graduated in 1994 with a Degree in Behavioral Science and Law and a Criminal Justice Certificate.

I began my law enforcement career in 1995 working part - time patrol for the Mount Horeb Police Department. After reaching full time patrol status in 1996 I worked for that department until 1999. In 1999 I started working for the Fitchburg Police Department.  In 2001 I started with the Sauk Prairie Police Department and currently assigned to the day shift patrol.  I am a Pistol, Shotgun, and a Rifle instructor for the department.  My main focus is in the drug field, as I am assigned to the Sauk County Drug Task Force and the Clandestine Lab Entry and Response Team (CLEAR).

 I enjoy all types hunting including waterfowl hunting, deer, small game, and fishing.  I also enjoy NASCAR racing, biking, weight lifting and misc. outdoors activities.
