Augustin Salazar is wanted for 2 counts of Child abuse and Domestic abuse in Sauk County, Wisconsin. Police say on January 4, 1999 Salazar threw his girlfriend's 4-month-old baby boy against a couch because he would not stop crying. As a result the child obtained a skull fracture and almost died. Salazar was then arrested and later released on $5,000 bond.

He never attended his January 13th, preliminary hearing and a warrant was issued for his arrest. It is believed that Salazar has fled to New Mexico or Mexico.
